Monetary Donations or Gifts-in-Kind

Individual donations are valuable and any amount is always welcome. To recognize those donors who have chosen to give to THS on a recurring basis, the THS Honour Roll was started. Those individuals who give a one-time donation or over time accumulate a certain level will be recognized as:

In all cases, a donor’s wish for anonymity will be respected

Gifts-in-kind (items such as historical artifacts, books, etc.) are accepted with the understanding that their ownership is transferred to the THS and that we reserve the right to determine the retention and disposition of all such gifts.

Typically, donated items will be appraised and a tax receipt will be issued in accordance with Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) regulations and guidelines, and THS policies and procedures.
